One Man Show
Booking Information
F A Q
How far in advance do I need to book you? The Further in advance , the better ! However, If I have an opening, I have booked shows in the morning for as early as that evening!
How Much Do You Charge? This is based on my travel time, set up & location of the job. I charge the same rate for a 30 Minute Show as I do for a 4 Hour Show. The key here is the set-up and travel time involved.
Please call For Rates (251) 978-1710
My Rates are Very Reasonable, I will not be Under Sold!!
I realize that financial times are hard now. I am willing to work with you any way I can!
If I am already booked for the time you need Live Entertainment, I have a list of other Very Competent Musicians I can refer you to.
Do You Perform Outdoors ? Yes, most of my venues prefer this. However, in the Summer Months due to the un predictable weather, I would need to be under some sort of roof, tent or suitable cover to prevent your entertainment from being a "Wash-Out".
Set-Up Information
I have a 5'X8' Custom Built Portable Stage w/ 9' Umbrella for outdoor events. This can be set-up virtually anywhere. All that is needed is about a 150' access to one 120V outlet!
This is very helpful at Fairs & Festivals etc . I can set up virtually anywhere! If you already have the main stage booked with entertainers, I can set up anywhere else at your event to provide continuous music that would not interfere with the Main Stage Entertainment!
I also have a 10' X 10' Carnival Tent that takes only minutes to set up. There again all that is needed is about a 150' access to one 120V outlet!
I do not charge extra for the set up of my Portable Stage or Carnival Tent!
"About My Show" Particulars
Can I Get Up On Stage , Sing, or Play my Instrument Along With You? Nope, sorry I am strictly a Solo Artist and Do Not Do any "Karaoke", "Sit Ins" , Or " On Stage Sing A Longs" Actually, I hate that question because it usually ends up offending someone. Over the years, I've been asked by many, " Cap, are you afraid someone's going be better than you? " My infamous reply is "No! , I'm afraid some one's going to be worse than me!" If your heart is set on doing Karaoke, You might consider hiring a K. J., I have a list of a several very competent people who do Karaoke Shows Exclusively.
However, You are welcomed to sing along in the Audience.
For "Private Parties" , By special advance request, I have a Cordless & or a Remote Microphone via my Sound System for Audience Singing Participation, If you'd like.
Folks, Please understand that I've got Thousands of dollars invested in my equipment, I am very "Picky" about it. No Pun intended. That's Why I do not let people on Stage,
Audience singing & participation , It's all good! So Please feel free to "Join The Party!"
I always take Song Requests!

We were so glad to have met such a nice and down to earth performer as you! Your music, voice & song selections were second to none! We also enjoy Brent Burns, J.R. Owen & Billy Pelletier, they very good too. We are so tired of the LOUD "Honkey Tonks". It seems that that most of the local entertainment is that way down here anymore. Anyway, We sure enjoyed your performance at RJ's Fish House. Just wish you could have played Longer! We will definetly will be back to hear you! The food and service was great.
Sincerely, Jane & Bill from Minneapolis, Minn.

The Thomsons - Huntsville, Al.
Capt. , Your cover tunes are very well done. We especially liked your Jim Croce & Gordon Lightfoot tunes! Your original songs are sort of silly, but good. However, the Buffett was the best! Your entertainment made the wait for our table at The Original Oyster House so much more pleasant. We especially liked the way you interacted with the kids! Hope to see you again there next summer . The food & service were great! We will be back.
Mike & Janice Rhodes from Atlanta, Ga.
