Todd Watson--Coach Watson is a native of Mobile, Alabama. He played football, basketball, and baseball at Alba High School until his senior year when he transferred to Baldwin County High School in Bay Minette. An all-county selection in football and baseball, Coach Watson graduated from BCHS in 1989 and accepted a baseball scholarship to Jefferson Davis Jr. College and then to the University of Mobile in 1990.

        Coach Watson graduated from the University of Mobile in 1993 and began coaching football and baseball at Alba High School. He was there in its merger with Grand Bay High School to form Alma Bryant High School. In the first year of the school, as defensive coordinator, Coach Watson and Alma Bryant High School Canes posted eight shutouts and put together a string of 31 consecutive scoreless quarters on their way to a 12-1 finish. The Canes followed that up with another 12-1 record before Coach Watson left for Hoover High School in 2000.

        At Hoover High School, the Bucs went 14-1 (State Champions) in 2000, 14-1 (State runner-up) in 2001, 13-1 (State Champions) in 2002, 14-1 (State Champions) in 2003, and 15-0 (State Champions) in 2004. Coach Watson served as assistant head coach, defensive coordinator, and linebacker coach while in his tenure at Hoover.

        This is Coach Watson's first year as the Lion's head coach and athletic director and his thirteenth year overall in coaching. He is married to Christie Mallory of Irvington. They have two daughters, LeighAshton (10) and Micah (2).

David Watson--Coach Watson is the Defensive Coordinator and also in charge of the Defensive Backs. He is married to Janea and they're expecting their first child in May. Coach Watson has experience in coaching in the following schools: 2003-2005 Moody High School-Assistant Head Coach, Defensive Backs, Special Teams Coordinator, 2002-2003 Albertville High School-Offensive Coordinator, Wide Receivers, 2000-2002 Davidson High School-Quarterbacks, Running Backs, 1999-2000 Bryant High School-Wide Receivers, 1998-1999 Alba Middle School- Head Coach.

Shane Jones--Coach Jones is in charge of the Wide Receivers for the Lion team. He is married to Theresa, and has child Tyler. Coach Jones graduated from Gadsden State Community College and then went on to graduate from Jacksonville State University with a BS in Physical Education. Coach Jones has coaching experience in the following schools: 2004 Bryant High School- Offensive Coordinator, 2003 University of Alabama at Birmingham- Defensive Backs, 2002 Albertville High School-Running Backs, 2000-2002 Newnan High School (GA)- Wide Receivers, 1998-1999 Oxford High School- Wide Receivers.

Wes Lathan--Coach Lathan is in charge of the Defensive Line for the Lions. He and Ashley Howell, the JV Cheerleading coach, were married this past summer. He graduated from the University of South Alabama where he received his MA in Education and then graduated from the University of Montevallo, where he received his BS in History. He also has coaching experience in the following schools: 4 years at Fairhope High School-Wide Receivers, Defensive Line, and for 4 years at Murphy High School-Special Teams Coordinator, Line Backers, Defensive Line.
