Annual Quilting Project

The WELCA ladies at Grace Lutheran Church have continued working diligently on Mondays for the past year making quilts and kits for Lutheran World Relief.  Many of our Winter Friends helped while they were in the area.  The members and guests produced 72 quilts, 64 health kits, and 102 school bags during 2008 - 2009.   As in previous years, these items were consolidated at Mobile, AL with contributions from other Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida Lutheran churches and shipped to the East Coast for distribution through Lutheran World Relief to needy people.
