Cruise Aboard Freedom Of The Seas - June 10 - 17, 2007

We joined John, Stephanie, Michael and Kimmie Herring for 7 nights abord Royal Caribbean's Freedom Of The Seas. Ports of Call included Labadee, Haiti, Ocho Rios, Jamaica, Georgetown, Grand Cayman and Cozumel, Mexico. A nice lady at the Delta ticket counter helped us recover from an almost disastrous trip to DFW airport the morning of our cruise (let's just say it took a lot longer than anticipated to get from Mckinney to the ticket counter). We almost missed our flight, but due to the efforts of the afore mentioned nice lady, we made it on the plane with 10 minutes to spare. Our bags even made it! Our connection in Atlanta was on time and by 3:00pm edt we were very happy to be on board the Freedom of the Seas.

2:17 PM		 Jacob and Michael did the 30 minute power boxing workout. And it was a workout! They were both pretty tired when it was over. They did not box each other, but learned how to throw different punches and then did a little "sparring".

3:28 PM		 Tuesday morning we awoke in Labadee, Haiti.  Labadee is a privately owned area for exclusive use by Royal Caribbean. There are several beaches spread out over a large area with various water activities. We had a blast on wave runners. I did not take the camera on this excursion. I had never been on a wave runner before and didn't want to take a chance on dunking the camera. As it turns out, we all stayed upright and mostly dry.
