On the Italy-bahn....we discover our first Italian fast food chain In Florence....walking down the River Arno the Alamo....relocated from San Antonio Floretine streets....are narrow some important arch....on the western side of the Piazza della Republica
Baptistry, Duomo, and Bell Tower....(foreground left, center, and right) the Baptistry....earliest large church of Florence, now baptisms for the Duomo congregation are held there the Duomo....cathedral of Florence, built in 14th century with facade completed in the 19th century the Bell Tower....is tall cupolas on the Duomo....architecturally problematic
inside some other cathedral....can't remember which Cosimo di Midici....evidently he thought he was important the David and Hercules....not the originals statues in the Loge....originally a town meeting spot, still is the Palazzo Vecchio....(Old Palace, the new one's across the river)
Anglo-American Hotel....and proud of it Epiphany Parade....these kids sang well The Arno....I don't know how those cars get down there Florence from the bell tower....looking across the Arno Florence from the bell tower....facing the opposite direction
