ANALOG MISSIONARY Transmitter (CD) (Own Release)
You know, the moment at where you receive something unexpected while realising
it will play some part in your life.
That's what happened to me when I got the cd from this American gothband. Mind
you, it's not a cd that will change my life
but it's one that will be played lots of times just because I'm touched by its
beauty. Analog Missionary are a gothband who do
it all a bit by themselves and that often ends up in great things (recently
they played music for a performance of the classic silent
movie "Nosferatu"). The beauty of Analog Missionary is a duality as
the ethereal female vocals goes hand in hand with the goth
metal oriented music, a sort of darkwave with a heavier touch and what makes
them so good is that people will link them to
bands like Tristania and Within Temptation but yet they
succeed in sounding totally different...especially in melancholic parts in
where it reminded me most of the forgotten beauty of All About Eve. Worldwide
this is just a small DIY-release but it captures an
immense beauty though... (www.analogmissionary.com <http://www.analogmissionary.com/>
