2.   NOTES;  Washington "Wash" Williams born ca 1825 
The following information came from a book titled the Descendants of George Washington Williams by Carolyn V. Gregson Glade.  Verbatim: "It said that Wash's father was Billy Duzong an Indian who was freed after the Civil War. We have nothing to substantiate this. It was said his master was a Williams man from Washington County, thereby we come to have the name of Williams." "Thanks to Patsy Hathcock"

Washington Williams remarried Edian Loften on 10 October 1876. Edian was previously married to a John W. Harris.
