Note: Cause of death: Acute Bright Disease
But, the story goes, That Emily was visiting her son, Leroy Jones Sr.and got butted by a goat and fell and hit her head. She was taken tothe hospital and released. Later she developed problems and died. Notsure about this but, thought I'd put it in since its a family storyhanded down. True or ??

News has been received in Montgomery of the recent death of Mrs. EmilyDelilah Jones, of Pensacola, mother of Emory Jones of Montgomery, whomshe often visited in her lifetime.
She died Sept 27 and was buried the next day at Milton, the Rev.Fletcher McCleod, Methodist minister, officiating. Survivors includefour sons, L. R. Jones, of Pensacola; G. E. Jones, of Graceville,Fla.; E. C. Jones of Bagdad, Fla.; and Emory Jones of Montgomery, andone daughter, Mrs. H. E. Johnson, of Jacksonville. Mrs Jones wasactive in church work for the better part of her life.
