Thomas is believed t have married a Miss Ward or into the Ward famlyconnections on January 12, 1809. He may have migrated to Florida. The3rd Federal Census (1810) for Darlington County, South Carolina, listThomas Pigott, age 26-44 years of age with a wife in the same agebracket, one daughter under 10 years, no sons & two slaves. Thenwidlely separated in years and diststance, Thomas was used as areference, in 1814 Thomas Ward filed a declaeation of service in theRev. War, citing Thomas Pigott as one of several who knew of hisservice. Thomas Ward stated he lived in Chaeraws District, SouthCarolina., an know lived (18141) lived on the Federal Road, Alabama ona place called the Duberry Place.
